My 100% feedback is very important to me. I try to describe my items as honestly as I can, but I also want you to examine the photos I have as well.
I have some amazing promo cars I will be listing as time permits, so please keep checking back often.
This is a 2 car set of 1973 Plymouth Roadrunners. Neither of these cars have the original tissue paper that covers the car in the box. The cars I’m listing have been in my collection for several years in a climate controlled room with no windows and a non smoking home. I have kept them stored in their boxes as well.
One car is in the original box with the original decals. This car is (in my opinion) very near mint. It is absolutely stunning. The windshield posts are straight and not bowed. On the roof there is a small indent, I believe this is a factory flaw on these cars caused from gluing the windshield strips to the roof of the car.
I have taken the car outside in the sun to examine it and I can see some very light rub marks on the roof and one small one on the drivers door. Keep in mind this car is nearly 50 years old. The chrome is bright and shiny with no peeling. Windows are very clear and I see no flaws on them. The decals are slightly curved from being stored in the box but they are straight with no creases.
The original box is in excellent condition with some shelf wear as seen in photos on the blue print part of the box, Also one of the end flaps has tape repair and ink writing “TO 73”as seen in one of the photos.
The second car is also in Petty Blue. It’s in excellent condition. The windshield posts are straight and the glass is clear with light scuffing. The top is also pulled in slightly in one small spot caused by the windshield strips being glued to the roof. The roof has som light rub marks in a couple of spots also a small rub mark on the drivers side front and rear fender. The paint is shiny along with the chrome finish. Keep in mind I examined these outside in the sun so on the inside the marks are not noticeable if any. The box is not original and this car doesn’t have the original decals.
I have tried to describe the cars as accurately as I can I can only have 12 pictures with the listing.
